Emergency First aid at work (EFAW) – 1 day course
Who Should Attend this Emergency First aid at work (EFAW) – 1 day course ?
This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid. It is especially suited for those who work in a low-risk environment.
How long is an EFAW?
This course lasts for 1 full day (6 hours) and takes place in the classroom.
What Topics are covered?
- Adult resuscitation (CPR)*
- Burns & Scalds
- Choking
- Communication & casualty care
- Defibrillator
- Minor & severe bleeding
- Seizures
- Shock
- Unresponsive Casualty
*Rescue breaths have been reintroduced to all training and individual facemasks are provided for infection control.
