Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training. It is suited to those working in a high-risk environment.

How long is a FAW?

This course takes 3 full days (18 hours) and takes place in the classroom.

What topics are covered?

Day 1 – EFAW topics

Day 2 & 3

  • Crush Injuries
  • Managing Epilepsy & Diabetes
  • Poisoning
  • Eye Injuries
  • Fractures, dislocations and head injuries
  • Legal aspects and secondary surveys
  • Breathing management
  • Treating common minor & major illnesses
  • Record keeping & equipment use

OUR FIRST AID COURSES

All our courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet guidelines set out by the HSE in 2013, the First Aid at Work regulations 1981 (amended 2016), the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum (FAAOF) and the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO).

Training is delivered by competent and fully qualified trainers in a relaxed environment with real scenarios. We are able to tailor the courses to fit your specific requirements.
